Mammography Technologist

Job Overview Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team at our Rice Street Clinic in St Paul, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30AM - 4PM. No weekends! Responsibilities * Prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes. * Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testing * Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs * Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team. * Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures. * Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures * Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirement * Follows infection control guidelines * Adheres to safety protocols * Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols * Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members * Responds appropriately to emergent situations. * Evaluates imagine results for diagnostic quality * Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances * Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution * Demonstrating ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of population served.
