Location: Madison, WI Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday through Friday 24/7 accountability for assigned sites Key Responsibilities: Direct and oversee pharmacy operations at multiple locations ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership to develop operational plans, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives Establish effective communication with medical staff and hospital departments to enhance pharmacy services Lead pharmacy information management strategies, including charge systems and inventory control Participate actively in multidisciplinary committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Patient Medication Safety Manage human resource functions including recruitment, staff development, performance reviews, and employee relations Monitor operational metrics to meet productivity, budget, engagement, and patient care goals Support the Director of Pharmacy with policy development, implementation, and quality assurance Qualifications: PharmD degree from an accredited institution Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience A minimum of 5 years in pharmacy supervisory or management roles Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a seasoned pharmacy professional who demonstrates strong leadership, operational insight, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through effective pharmacy management.
