Job Description Radiologic Technologist Work Location: Oakton, VA Work Hours: Full time, Day Shift Perform radiographic and other imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician. Instruct patients on proper physiological requirements for procedures. Prepare and administer barium when required. Ascertain area of injury or symptoms to assist in diagnosis. Recognize reactions to contrast media and administer CPR when necessary. Ensure all necessary consent forms are signed. Process exam-related information accurately. Assist in clerical and reception duties. Participate in quality assurance efforts. Reduce radiation exposure to a minimum. Comply with policies and procedures. Report equipment problems and perform maintenance. Take initiative for professional advancement. Maintain clean work area and comply with OSHA regulations. Promote positive image of the office. Maintain patient confidentiality.
