OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Primary Care Physicians to provide onsite primary care services to eligible beneficiaries of the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center located at One Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers’ success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services to Veteran patients, including:Preventive care (immunizations, cancer screening, health maintenance)Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart failure)Evaluation and treatment of acute and urgent conditionsConduct mental health screenings (depression, PTSD, substance use) and initiate referrals as neededServe as team lead within the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) modelCoordinate care with:SpecialistsMental Health providersSocial WorkersPharmacistsVA Community Care Network providersManage:Consults and referralsFollow‑up careInpatient admission reviews recommended by NPs/PAs (with required hand‑offs)Provide women’s health care, including trauma‑informed careAddress geriatric and palliative care needs in collaboration with GEC and Palliative Care teamsDeliver care via telehealth, including video visits, phone visits, and secure messagingFollow VA medication policies (no sample medications)Document all care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR)Complete E&M coding accurately and same‑dayCommunicate test results to patients per VA policyMaintain compliance with VA clinical reminders and performance measuresReport patient safety incidents within required timeframesAttend required meetings, including:Monthly Primary Care All‑Staff meetingsProvider discussions as scheduledParticipate in:Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement (QA/QI)OPPE and FPPE reviewsComply with all VA patient safety, privacy, and infection control standardsQualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM, AOBIM accepted)Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State or TerritoryActive NPI reportActive DEA licenseMaintain an active AHA BLSMust be able to pass a Federal background investigationNo sponsorship available All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
