Position Type: Elementary School Teaching Date Posted: 3/24/2026 Closing Date: 03/31/2026   Additional Information: Show/Hide Student Wellness Specialist (SWS) for Elementary Summer School: Lakewood City School District; 2025-2026 school year; must have elementary teaching license from the Ohio Department of Education; June 8 from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm for instructional planning, June 10 or 11 and two days a week during the weeks of June 15-June 29, 8:15 a.m. through 12:45 p.m. Plan and assist children in grades K-5 in acquiring and effectively applying the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to develop in key social-emotional competencies such as understanding and managing emotions, setting and achieving positive goals, feeling and showing empathy for others, establishing and maintaining positive relationships and making responsible decisions (CASEL, 2017). Responsible to the Elementary Summer School Administrators, Director/Coordinator Student Services, and/or designee.
