Job Description

Infucare RX is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor to join our team in Aston area. As a Pharmacy Supervisor, you report to the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the infusion and specialty pharmacy. This position ensures compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations, supports sterile compounding operations, oversees infusion services, and provides functional supervision to pharmacy staff. The Pharmacy Supervisor also contributes to data collection, workflow optimization, and operational improvements across departments.InfuCare Rx is a leading home infusion provider accredited by URAC and ACHC offering a specialized approach to caring for patients in need of IV therapy and specialty pharmacy services in the homecare setting. We have created an ethical, team-oriented, and quality work environment for our employees that cultivates achievement and success.Job Responsibilities:Regulatory Compliance & Pharmacy OperationsEnsure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and inspection requirementsMaintain accurate records for all pharmacy transactions and controlled substancesOversee daily operations of the Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy in partnership with the Pharmacist in ChargeServe as the designated person for sterile compounding activities, as applicableLeadership & Staff OversightCollaborate with the Pharmacist in Charge on staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluationsSupervise pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staffProvide functional direction by assigning duties, offering guidance, and supporting employee developmentParticipate in the recruitment and hiring of pharmacy operations personnelSterile Compounding & Infusion SupportOversee sterile preparations and compounding processes in accordance with USP standardsSupport procurement of medications, supplies, and equipmentPromote safe, compliant, and efficient workflow within the compounding and infusion areasQuality & Performance ImprovementDocument and report medication errors per company proceduresImplement error-reduction and prevention strategies aligned with ISMP standardsParticipate as an active member of the Performance Improvement CommitteeMonitor workflow efficiency and recommend improvementsProfessional StandardsEnsure adherence to InfuCare Rx policies, procedures, and quality standards, including URAC and ACHC requirementsMaintain active state pharmacy licensureUphold ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professional integrityPerform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacyMinimum of 2 years of pharmacy management experience3-5 years of experience in a clean room environment or infusion pharmacyProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated leadership ability with experience guiding and developing teamsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to translate goals into actionable stepsAbility to manage schedules, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAbility to maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary informationPreferredExperience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or IV compoundingKnowledge of sterile compounding standards.Experience with workflow optimization and pharmacy quality programsWhy Join InfuCare Rx?InfuCare Rx offers a collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional growth, challenging and rewarding careers, and competitive compensation.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort- and Long-Term DisabilityCompany-Paid Life InsuranceVoluntary Life and AD&D Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off and Sick Leave6 Paid HolidaysOpportunities for Career Growth and Professional DevelopmentPhysical Demands:Required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
