Charge Med Tech - Part-Time

Lead Med Tech At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what "Celebrating Life Every Day!" means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic Charge (Lead) Med Tech for our Northville community. Responsibilities: * Assist with planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of care prescribed and provided to the resident. * Assigns responsibilities to team members for direct care during each tour of duty based on resident load, and the emotional, social, and care needs of each resident. * Interviews residents to determine medical concern/condition and documents in chart for physician. * Obtains and records resident vital signs and weight. * Administers and documents medications given by following specifically written physician orders. * Performs various treatments not requiring license nurse (hot/cold applications, vital signs, weights, etc.) * Observes, records, and reports observations such as unexpected and untoward effects from medications. * Takes vital signs as needed prior to administration of certain medications. * Provides direct resident care and functions as a CNA when not assigned to administer medications. * Performs rounds three times during shift. * Supervises Med Techs, CNAs, and Caregivers. Educational/Experience: * Current CNA certificate. * QMA Certificate in good standing preferred. * One-year previous experience in Senior Living. Benefits: Paid Time Off, Medical.
