OPEN POSITION: Physician - RheumatologistSCHEDULE: - Flexible Options Available- Full-Time- Part-Time- Part-Time to Full-Time- No Weekends- No Evenings- No HolidaysOFFICE HOURS:- Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm- Friday, closed- Saturday / Sunday, closed- Holidays, closedFULL-TIME COMPENSATION:- 4-Day Work Week (32 Hours)- $300,000 to $325,000 Total Annual Income- $220,000 to $250,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience- Quarterly Production Bonuses- $10,000 to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus- Relocation Assistance- Malpractice Insurance- 20 Days Paid Time Off- Paid Holidays- Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance Stipend- Annual CME Allowance- License / DEA Fees Reimbursed- Package Details NegotiableLOCATION: Palm Harbor, FloridaCOMPANY PROFILE: This physician-owned-and-operated private practice has been providing rheumatology services to patients in the Palm Harbor area for nearly 50 years.  Their in-house services include, but are not limited to, infusions, ultrasound-guided injections, PRP therapy, convenient telemedicine appointments, and physical therapy.  They currently boast a staff of two (2) rheumatologists, one (1) internal medicine physician, and one (1) endocrinologist.  They are seeking a new rheumatologist  to join them due to an upcoming retirement.  As such, the new physician will inherit an established patient panel and be provided a transition period alongside the retiring physician.POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is an outpatient rheumatology role in a private practice, working to diagnose, manage, and treat autoimmune disorders and musculoskeletal conditions affecting joints, muscles, bones, and connective tissues.  The practice also employs an internal medicine physician and an endocrinologist. Specific duties of the rheumatologist role include, but are not limited to:- review patient histories and perform physical examinations- consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment- provide appropriate treatments and patient care plans- examine and diagnose disorders and diseases of the musculoskeletal system- examine and diagnose disorders and diseases of the immune system- recommend and order tests to determine extent of illnesses and help diagnose conditions- diagnose and treat rheumatic disorders of the skeletal system, muscles, and joints- obtain lab reports and prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs / other medications- suggest OT or PT to patients suffering from arthritis and other types of joint disorders- provide relationship-centered care, taking into account psychosocial and physical needs- communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality careAn average of 15 to 20 patients per day are seen.  All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.The office uses the Practice Fusion EHR.REQUIREMENTS:- Florida medical license- DEA- Board Certification or Eligibility, Rheumatology- 2+ years practice experience preferred, not required- current fellows are welcome to applyHOW TO APPLY:To apply for this position, please send your resume to Jenn Kunkel at jenn@ or call (773) 998-1272.Please visit /jobs for a full list of openings at CHS Recruiting.Powered by JazzHR
