Growth & OpportunityCompetitive CompensationAbout Our ClientThis is a fantastic opportunity to help build out an asset management platform and lead a portfolio of assets worth over $800MM. Focusing on the firm's assets throughout Texas and multiple other states the asset manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of all multifamily assets.Job DescriptionFocusing on the firms assets throughout Texas and multiple other states the asset manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of Senior-living. Having a hands on approach to this is key and the asset manager will be required to make regular site visits. Alongside this your dial roels and responsibilities will include but no be limited to:Maximize total ROI for all assets and assessing where to add value and improvements to current and existing assetsProvide direction (leadership) and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, analysis and approvalsWorking in a collaborative fashion with third-party property managers, lease administrators, leasing agents, legal counsel, auditors and accountantsWorks with construction management to create a vision for the capital improvements to the assetTracks lender mandated reporting and covenants such as debt service ratio coveragesDevelop and distribute periodic asset management reports to investors, consultants and other partnersNegotiate third party contractsParticipates in the annual budget processAnalyze weekly and monthly operating reports from property managersUnderstand different financial evaluation methods related to valuation and performance of real estate (such as IRRs, NPVs, WACCs, etc.)Analyze market and submarket comps and track against portfolio performancePrepare reports for lenders, institutional partners, and the Investment Committee using PowerPoint and Adobe suiteManage asset management files and recordsWork with Acquisitions team to develop asset business plansAssist the Director of Asset ManagementEnsure adherence to policies and procedures to maintain effective internal controlsAssist in operational takeovers and property manager transitionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantSeeking a successful asset manager must have strong hands on asset management, value add and leadership experience.
