Grade 3 (Hourly)Position Description:The Dental Clinic Coordinator II is in the University of Louisville School of Dentistry Specialty Practice area, located at 501 S. Preston Street, Louisville, KY 40202 This position serves as the communication link between the student providers and both their patients and the supervising faculty. They offer administrative, technical, and procedural support to the students throughout their time in the specialty area and are dedicated to helping them graduate.The University of Louisville has an exceptional benefits package; to learn more about our benefits please visit here.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorks with faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care within the dental specialty practices.Works closely with faculty, peers, and supervisors to ensure that consistency in operation is maintained among the groups.Tracking patient lab cases where appropriate.Manage instrument needs for daily schedulePlace supply ordersSeats and checks in each patient within their provider team.Serve as chairside assistant when necessary.Maintains the cleanliness of associated chairs and checks that equipment is functioning properly.Stocks rooms and help to maintain overall inventory.Reviews the patient Electronic Health Records and assists the providers with accuracy of notes and corresponding codes.Maintain HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times.Other duties as assigned.Target Compensation Maximum:$28.55Target Compensation Minimum:$19.03Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.Equal Employment OpportunityThe University of Louisville is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
