Registered Respiratory Therapist

Position: Respiratory Therapist Location: 33 Mitchell Avenue, Johnson City, NY 13790 Schedule: Night Shift 36 hours per week Facility: UHS Wilson Medical Center (Acute Care Hospital) Job Overview: The Respiratory Therapist will provide advanced respiratory care in a high-acuity setting, supporting both adult critical care and neonatal patients. The role involves working with advanced ventilator systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care in critical care and NICU environments Operate and manage V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators Monitor patient status and adjust treatment plans accordingly Document all patient care activities using EPIC EMR system Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams Participate in external patient transports as required Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols Requirements: Experience in critical care and NICU Hands-on experience with V60 BiPAP and Puritan Bennett 980 Ventilators Familiarity with EPIC system Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Certifications/Licensure: Active New York State Respiratory Therapy License NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current BLS & ACLS certifications Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
