Your Role as a Director of Nursing (DON): * Lead, plan, and oversee daily operations of the nursing department * Supervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs * Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations * Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures * Monitor quality of care and implement performance improvement initiatives * Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staff * Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team * Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care * Maintain regulatory readiness and lead state survey processes * Foster a positive, supportive, and accountable care environment What We're Looking For: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio * Current CPR certification * Minimum of 5 years of long-term care nursing experience, including leadership experience * Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards * Proven leadership, decision-making, and team development skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Compassionate, resident-focused leadership approach Your Next Step Starts Here!
