Exciting opportunity for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician to support critical cardiac services in Hammond, IN. This contract role offers weekday shifts with competitive hours and the chance to work in a dynamic cath lab environment focused on outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cardiac care. Location Overview: Situated near the Indiana-Illinois border, Hammond offers a blend of urban accessibility with nearby cultural attractions and beautiful Lake Michigan views. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging and technical procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. Collaborate closely with the cardiac care team to ensure patient safety and quality care. Operate cath lab equipment while adhering to regulatory and safety protocols. Provide thorough documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) entries using EPIC Cupid. Contribute to department readiness by participating in orientation and ongoing procedural training. Respond to on-call and holiday coverage requirements as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: Must hold active Radiologic Technologist State Licensure and ARRT Certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Cath Lab Tech. Prior exposure to outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cardiac patients is essential. Ability to float to nearby Munster Cath Lab as needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills with a professional, collaborative mindset. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (4 days a week) Guaranteed 40 hours weekly Weekend on-call rotation and holiday coverage required Additional Details: Dress code includes blue scrubs provided by the facility. Orientation and training modules, including EPIC Cupid, will be completed prior to starting. Reporting location is at the Dyer entrance with directed parking on day one.
