American Traveler is seeking an EEG Technologist with at least 2 years of clinical electroneurodiagnostic experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic Level 1 Trauma Center in Madison, WI.Job Details• Work in a Magnet-designated academic Level 1 Trauma Center and leading teaching institution in Madison, WI,• Neurodiagnostic department performing EEG, evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long-term epilepsy monitoring (LTM), and ICU/continuous EEG monitoring (ICU/EEG),• Studies performed across multiple settings including outpatient laboratory, emergency room, operating room, ICU, special monitoring units, and at bedside,• 5x8-hour day/evening shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM,• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage required,• No on-call required,• Travelers are the first to float and may be assigned to multiple units or locations within the organization based on staffing needs,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years combination of training and experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist,• Graduate of a CAHEA-approved school in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, OR 2 years of equivalent clinical training and experience,• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required,• R. EEG.T credential preferred,• Experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized facility required,• Pediatric EEG experience preferred,• Prior travel experience highly preferred,• License required if applicable,• Must reside at least 50 miles from the primary work site to be eligible for this position,Additional Information• Perform diagnostic testing including EEG, EP, NCS, LTM, and ICU/continuous EEG monitoring under physician supervision,• Responsible for analyzing data during recordings to ensure validity and interpretability, even without the supervising physician physically present,• Must obtain relevant patient history to guide test procedures, requiring solid knowledge of clinical neurology,• Works under the direct supervision of senior staff and an interpreting physician,• Onsite parking requires a permit through UW Transportation; bus, park-and-ride, and private parking options are also available
