Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including ER/Trauma, for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital in North Carolina.Job Details• Community hospital setting serving outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient populations,• MRI procedures include brain, cranial nerves, face/soft tissue neck, orbits, chest, myocardium, abdomen, female and male pelvis, and spinal studies (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum, coccyx),• Imaging also includes head/neck MRA, head MRV, neck MRV, abdominal MRA, thoracic MRA, MRCP, and musculoskeletal studies (shoulder, hip/bony pelvis, knee, foot, hand, sternum, upper and lower extremity long bones),• Patient ratio of 1:2 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends,• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM-8:00 PM, Saturday through Monday,• No call or float requirements,• EMR/imaging systems include Pyxis and Visage PACS,Job Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience,• ER/Trauma experience required,• Current BLS and ARRT (MR) certification required,• Proficiency with a broad range of MRI procedures including neurological, body, cardiac, vascular, and MSK imaging,• Skills required include PACS, Siemens MRI equipment, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, and isolation precautions,• License required if applicable,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted,• Royal blue scrubs required,• RTO requests after booking are not permitted and cannot be arranged onsite; call-offs or additional RTO may result in contract cancellation,• Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested at the time of booking
