Opportunity: Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive Job Details: • Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings • Support existing physician during recruitment phase with full-time coverage Monday-Friday plus call • Manage average of 10 clinic patients per day and 12-15 inpatient admissions per day • Work collaboratively with other cardiologists and supervise 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) • Serve adult and geriatric patient populations using EPIC documentation system • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other non-invasive cardiac procedures • Must be Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) certified for Advanced Heart Failure management • Participate in night and weekend call on rotating 1:6 basis • Board certification in Cardiology required with Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship and LVAD experience • Must maintain active Virginia medical license and DEA registration • ACLS certification required with clean background check • Local provider preferred with credentialing timeframe of approximately 120 days • Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.Recruiter InformationRecruiter: Jamie ThomasEmail: jthomas@ Phone: (703) 378-0004 x312
