URGENT - Locum - Hospitalist Physician - Abington, PA

Job Description Start Date: Mar 10, 2025 End Date: OngoingMust be board certified and Licensed in PAHospitalist Moonlighter CCU Coverage Needed: ASAP Start (or when privileged) - ongoing/until FTE is hired;This need will likely be for at least the next 6 months if not longer. Emergency/Temp Privileges Granted. Skills Required: Internal Medicine, Cardiology, or Critical Care ExperienceSkills Preferred (not required): Cardiology Fellow, Critical Care FellowIntensivist Breakdown of Practice Days: - Moonlighter coverage for CCU patients - Hours are from 7pm - 7am - Receive sign-out from CCU Resident Team that covers during the day - Cardiologist on-call for additional support - Admit patients to CCU, provide critical cardiology care, discharge, transfer Call: Typical census: 4-6 patients but can be more at times. Also responsible for responding to urgent and emergent patient care requests for inpatient cardiology patients. EMR System (Clinic EMR different than hospital EMR?): EpicPrivileging time frame/requirements: 60-90 days on average a. Temp/Emergency Privileges: Yes Need every other week coverage beginning January 1, 2025 -If candidate has required skills interview may not be necessary
