Seeking a skillful, energetic full-time Family Practice Physician to join the San Benito Health Foundation (SBHF) team of providers. SBHF is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Hollister, California, that provides medical, behavioral health and dental visits to the residents of San Benito County. SBHF offers care to people of all ages regardless of ability to pay. In addition to full scope outpatient primary care we conduct aggressive programs of community education and screening, quality improvement activities, disaster preparedness, and optimization of operations. Great opportunity for a new and established physician looking to make a difference at the community level, and work with a team in an outpatient setting to a multicultural patient population and help patients to achieve the best level of wellness. Candidates must have a Medical degree (M.D.) and completed residency in either Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Must have at least one year of experience, licensed to practice in State of California; Must be board eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine; board certification is highly desirable. Current DEA license and CPR certification. Maintains CME/credentialing/licensure in compliance with state and board requirements. Passion to work with the under-served community. The Family Practice Physician provides comprehensive primary care to all patients seeking care. He or she will provide community based primary care as part of a patient centered medical home team. Physician will provide diagnosis and treatment of health center patients within the scope of his/her license to practice medicine. Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities and achieves productivity goals.
