Why Join Our Team? + Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a part time MHA (mental health associate) to work the evening shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 3 (Drug and Alcohol Unit/Detox and Dual diagnosis) with 28 beds. + We offer medically monitored detoxification and treatment for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Our skilled staff help patients safely manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings while keeping them as comfortable as possible. Medication-assisted treatment, group therapy, and other services aid their recovery. + Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ). Key Roles and Responsibilities: + The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients. + The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. Scheduling Requirements: + Required to work 2-3 day shifts (3:00PM-11:30pm) a week including every other weekend and every other holiday. What We Require for this Role: Education + Bachelor of Arts or Science (required). + Education specialization: Social Science preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT + Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire. + Valid driver's license in employee's state of residence with a record in good standing required.
