Pharmacy Manager - Long Beach, CA

An interim Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available for a skilled professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy department within a 50-bed Long-Term Acute Care facility. This role offers a chance to lead a dedicated team of eight employees, ensuring efficient pharmacy services and compliance with healthcare standards. The assignment is approximately 8 to 12 weeks, Monday through Friday during day shifts, with an ASAP start. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the pharmacy department to support patient care Supervise and provide leadership to a team of 8 pharmacy personnel Ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize medication management Oversee inventory control and pharmacy workflow processes Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid California Pharmacist license is required Previous supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the assignment Experience in managing pharmacy operations within acute care or LTAC environments is highly desirable Location: Long Beach, California Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts This contract assignment offers a unique leadership role supporting critical patient care in a specialized setting.
