Join the Vision Source- Magnolia team today in this Optician job at our Magnolia, TX location As an Optician, you will be an essential part of an outstanding team, seamlessly taking customers through the process of selecting and ordering eyewear and accessories that best suit them, assisting with fitting, and providing education on the proper care for their chosen products - all within a fun and upbeat environment. Responsibilities As the Front Desk Receptionist, you'll be the multitasking powerhouse that keeps our vision practice running smoothly. Your role includes: Warm Patient Greetings: Create a welcoming first impression every time. Smooth Front Desk Flow: Manage check-ins, scheduling, and inquiries with ease. Cross-Trained Optical Support: Assist with frame selections and basic eyewear guidance. Administrative Efficiency: Handle calls, emails, payments, and paperwork with accuracy. Teamwide Collaboration: Support technicians, opticians, and providers to keep the day moving seamlessly. Compassionate Care: Make every patient feel valued and supported throughout their visit. Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an eye clinic or medical clinic setting Fluency in both English and Spanish Energetic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Experience with cash handling and electronic health records (EHR) systems Ability to commute to work within 20-30 minutes Apply Now Type: Full Time (Hourly)
