Responsibilities Perform general X-ray imaging, including portable X-rays in the emergency department and hospital units Operate advanced imaging equipment from GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu Maintain accurate patient records using McKesson PACS and EPIC systems Collaborate with other technologists and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care Adhere to radiation safety protocols and department guidelines Participate in department-specific orientation, including two hours with the manager and two weeks with staff Qualifications & Desired Experience Must hold a valid Washington State DOH Imaging License (WA license in hand required) Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) BLS certification required Minimum of one year of radiology tech experience; larger, fast-paced hospital experience preferred Familiarity with general X-ray imaging only; no float to other specialties Ability to work Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with minimal call responsibilities Additional Information This position requires compliance with Washington State tax auto deduction policies (1.75% WA state tax auto deducted; can be re-added by candidates) Facility does not provide radiation badges; technicians must bring their own through employer or travel agency Scrubs are provided on-site The department operates four X-ray rooms, four portable units, and two fluoroscopy rooms No overnight shift lead role; radiologists available on-site from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm This travel opportunity is ideal for radiologic technologists ready to engage in a supportive environment without float responsibilities, focusing solely on X-ray services.
