A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Rockville, MD, offering a flexible temp-to-perm arrangement. This role involves working primarily in a school setting with a small caseload focused on mild special education needs, providing an excellent environment to practice and grow clinical skills. Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support student progress Providing direct therapy services, including teletherapy as needed Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with educational guidelines Supporting communication goals for pediatric students in a school environment Qualifications and experience desired: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred Experience working with pediatric populations and special education settings Familiarity with teletherapy delivery models Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration Ability to manage a caseload with diverse speech and language needs Location and work schedule: Position located in Hyattsville, MD, near the Rockville area Approximately 15 hours per week, with potential to increase hours over time Single-site placement to ensure focus and consistency Immediate availability preferred Benefits include working with a supportive staff and engaging in collaborative interdisciplinary work, fostering a positive professional environment.
