Clinical Technician, Dialysis

Lifts and pushes patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs. Lifts and carries dialysate solution containers. May be subject to hazardous wastes and materials. Bending and stretching. Uses computer. Must pass Color vision test. Ability to respond to audible alarms is required." Demonstrates willingness and ability to work effectively in a complex and changing environment. Adheres rigorously to all infection control/infection prevention requirements. Applies process-improvement principles to daily work and work area. Adheres to confidentiality and HIPAA safety and privacy requirements. Demonstrates acceptance of working in a continuous learning environment; actively participate in own learning, seek to contribute to team and program learning as appropriate to position. Communicates effectively with supervisor, other charge personnel, and team members, including medical leadership as appropriate to position. Accepts constructive criticism professionally. Performs other duties as assigned Schedule Notes: 13-week contract with potential to convert based on performance and availability Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Minimum 2 years of clinical Dialysis Tech experience, Current dialysis clinical technician licensure. Experience with Time record system and Fresenius machines preferred but not required. Previous travel experience preferred but not required. Unit uses Fresenius T 2008 machines 48 chair unit Avg Patient Ratio 1:4 Time EMR used Shift Hours: 5x8s: 4:30am-1pm and 12:30pm- 8:30pm shifts available. 12:30p shift start is priority. 3x12s: 4:30am-5pm Three Saturday shifts required per 6-week period, clinic is closed Sundays. No Call required.
