Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner with RRT, NBRC, Level 1 trauma, and advanced NICU/PICU experience for a night shift assignment.Job Details• Work in a hospital setting within the respiratory care department,• Care for patients in Level 1 trauma, NICU, and PICU with exposure to Level 3-4 case complexity,• Night shift position from 7:00PM to 7:30AM, three 12-hour shifts per week,• Consistent use of Epic EMR is required,Job Requirements• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required,• Active Illinois RCP license required if applicable,• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required,• NBRC certification required,• Current BLS (AHA) certification required,• Minimum of 1 year recent respiratory care experience,• Experience in Level 1 trauma and advanced NICU/PICU environments required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,Additional Information• Responsibilities include assembling, testing, and maintaining respiratory equipment and providing routine and advanced respiratory care,• Perform patient assessments, blood gas analysis, and recommend clinical interventions as necessary,• Accurately document patient care and charges in Epic EMR,• No travel partners accepted for this assignment,• Return travelers must have a 6-month break if previously assigned for a year,• Requested time off may not exceed 7 days per 13-week contract,• Scrub or dress code requirements not specified
