Respiratory Therapist

Position: Respiratory TherapistLocation: Glenwood Springs CORelocation assistance availableProvides in-patient therapy for neonates to geriatrics on medical surgical floor, critical care, surgical services, level II nursery, the family birthplace center, and the emergency department. We have both Day and Night positions available. QUALIFICATIONS• Graduate of a National Board of Respiratory Care accredited School of Respiratory Care• NBRC RRT and NPS Credentialed required. Cannot consider Certified RT; must be Registered RT.• Current Colorado RT License• Must have 1 or more years' experience.• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required with cards in hand.• The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in and be able to perform all procedures of clinical practice e.g. Ventilator management including APRV, AVAPS and BIPAP weaning, respiratory care consults, assessments and interventions, adult intubation, arterial line insertion and bedside diagnostics. Familiarity with electronic medical record keeping systems (Meditech) helpful.• Requires 1 to 2 + years of experienceCurrent Colorado RT LicenseBLS AHAACLS AHAPALS AHANRPRRT - must have RRT.
