This position requires working with both cardiac and vascular cases. Common cardiac cases include NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitral Clip procedures. Vascular cases primarily involve lower extremity angiograms and EVAR and TEVAR cases. The patient ratio is 1:1 for Cardiac Cath Techs. This position involves charting in Epic, managing pre/post documentation, and administering pressors. The role includes coordination of traffic flow and add-on scheduling within the department. Support teams include VAD and ECMO teams, as well as the code team for emergencies. The technology used includes EMR systems, hemodynamic monitoring, IV pumps, med dispensing systems, and various imaging equipment. Travelers will be expected to participate in weekend rotations and take on-call shifts during weekdays. Holiday expectations also require that travelers work at least one holiday during their contract. The working environment is noted for its positive culture and collaborative team dynamics. Scrub color will be green and provided by the facility.
