Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Part-Time, W-2)Council for Relationships (CFR) OVERVIEW Council for Relationships (CFR), a multidisciplinary nonprofit practice, is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our collaborative clinical community.Part-time psychiatrists at CFR are W-2, fee-for-service employees who provide high-quality care in a collegial environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, continuing education, and peer support. Psychiatrists provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that values clinical rigor, thoughtful formulation, and integration of psychiatric and psychotherapeutic perspectives.This is a flexible position. Psychiatrists set their own schedules and rates and are supported by an engaged clinical and administrative team. Clinicians report to their Office Director, with clinical oversight from the Medical Director and/or Chief Clinical Officer.CLINICAL EXPECTATIONS We are seeking psychiatrists who are interested in building and maintaining an active caseload within a supportive group practice.Maintain a minimum caseload of 8 clients per week (with opportunity to grow beyond this)Meet monthly clinical productivity expectations, with support from leadership and referral pathwaysParticipate in a multidisciplinary care environment, including consultation and collaboration as neededRESPONSIBILITIESConduct high-quality psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment in an ethical manner, in accordance with professional standards, HIPAA regulations, and peer review processesProvide medication management and, if desired, psychotherapyFollow CFR clinical policies, procedures, and documentation standardsUtilize CFR's electronic health record/practice management systemMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentationCollaborate with therapists and other providers to support integrated, high-quality careParticipate in:Psychiatry meetings led by the Medical DirectorMonthly all-staff meetings (as schedule allows)Maintain an up-to-date professional profile on the CFR website COMMUNITY & PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT CFR values a culture of learning and contribution. Psychiatrists are encouraged (but not required) to:Participate in case consultation and peer dialogueContribute to educational, training, or outreach efforts aligned with their interests REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBoard-certified or board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent PsychiatryCurrent Pennsylvania Medical License (or eligibility)Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesExperience working within a multidisciplinary teamMaintain current professional liability (malpractice) insuranceCOMPENSATION Psychiatrists are compensated on a fee-for-service basis, earning 75–82% of collected fees, depending on volume and service mix.Compensation reflects the structure of the role and associated professional responsibilities, including maintaining individual malpractice coverage.Equal Opportunity EmployerCouncil for Relationships values a diverse workforce and inclusive culture.
