DescriptionLiv Well Behavioral is a licensed outpatient behavioral health clinic serving children ages 5-17. Over the past several years, we've grown steadily and deepened our roots in the community, becoming a trusted resource for families seeking compassionate, evidence-based care. If you're passionate about supporting youth, strengthening families, and being part of a mission-driven team, we'd love for you to keep reading.Summary:The Behavior Therapist will provide individual, clinically based therapy services to school-aged children with a primary focus on school-based service delivery. This role requires an individual who is confident in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic intervention. Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will manage a full caseload from intake through discharge, collaborate closely with caregivers and internal partners, and play an active role in shaping best practices. This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician who values autonomy, impact, and the ability to provide needed services.Primary Responsibilities:Conducts quality individual therapy sessions to support clients in addressing and managing mental health concernsManages assigned caseload from intake to dischargePerforms diagnostic assessments to identify mental health conditions and determine client needs, develops and implements individualized treatment plan based on assessment findings and using evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Prepares clients for discharge by coordinating follow-up care, providing referrals, and ensuring continuity of care post-treatment.Documents and assesses the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the objectives and goals of the treatment plan.Monitors client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.Provides crisis intervention as needed.Maintains detailed and accurate records of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes and completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner using the company's EHR system (Reliatrax).Participates in collaborative review team meetings and attends and participates in all other required meetings.Attends ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.Requirements:Proficient in MSProfessionalismStrong verbal and written communication skillsSkilled in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic interventionsAbility to prioritize tasksStrong organizational skillsAbility to learn industry rules and guidelinesAcute observation skillsPlanning and task management skillsWorks well independently and has strong operational skillsMaintain composure under stressful conditionsTreat clients and client families with dignity and empathyWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamEducation & Experience:Master's Degree in the behavioral health fieldAt a minimum an Associate Level License (LAC, LMSW, LAMFT, LASAC)At least 2 years of professional experience working with clients in a group or individual settingExperience working with an EHR platform preferred.Salary $58,000 - $67,000 per year
