This 6-month locum tenens CRNA contract offers clinical variety, flexibility, and professional growth across two hospitals in central Pennsylvania. Ideal candidates have strong anesthesia skills, comfort working independently in critical access settings, and experience with Cerner EMR. Key Job Details Pay: Estimated weekly pay $7,260 - $7,660 Employment Type: Locum tenens Contract Length: 6 months (April 20, 2026 - October 19, 2026) Shift & Schedule: 2-3 shifts per week (PRN). Tyrone: Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:30pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Huntingdon: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm Practice Setting: Hospital (Tyrone: 25-bed critical access; Huntingdon: 71-bed acute care) Location: Huntingdon, PA 16652 - serving central Pennsylvania communities Required Qualifications Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Board Certification required Current Pennsylvania CRNA license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience, or at least 1 year working independently as a CRNA Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Must be able to explain any CV gaps of 30 days or more Clinical Responsibilities Provide perioperative anesthesia care for general, orthopedic, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, and plastic surgery cases Deliver anesthesia services primarily for adult patients with occasional pediatric ENT cases Perform regional anesthesia techniques (spinals, peripheral nerve blocks) - experience helpful but not mandatory Work independently in solo CRNA settings (Tyrone) and collaboratively with anesthesiologists and anesthesia teams (Huntingdon) Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation using Cerner EMR and adhere to hospital policies Support a patient census averaging fewer than 20 cases per day across sites Why Apply Competitive CRNA pay and a defined 6-month locum tenens contract Clinical variety across two hospital settings in central Pennsylvania Opportunity to work independently and as part of a collaborative anesthesia team Experience with rural and acute care anesthesia - excellent for CRNA resume growth This locum tenens CRNA opportunity is ideal for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists seeking ta position in Pennsylvania.
