Job Title: Lockbox Operations Associate  Location: Charlotte, NC Type: Contract Max Pay Rate: $18.10/hr Work Model: 100% Onsite Shift: Friday – Monday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Interview: 30-min in-person (onsite walkthrough included) Role Overview We are hiring a Lockbox Operations Associate to support high-volume payment processing operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role focused on handling physical payments, extracting documents, and ensuring accuracy in time-sensitive processing workflows. Ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in an operational/production environment. Key Responsibilities Payment Processing Process incoming payments efficiently and accurately Operate imaging/scanning machines to capture payment data Ensure timely handling of all transactions Mail Extraction & Handling Open envelopes and extract payment documents Organize and prepare items for processing Maintain proper handling procedures for sensitive financial documents Data Entry & Accuracy Perform basic data entry when required Verify payment information for accuracy and completeness Maintain high quality and error-free processing standards Operational Support Meet daily production and turnaround time targets Follow established procedures and compliance guidelines Communicate issues or discrepancies to supervisors Required Qualifications 6+ months of operations, warehouse, or processing experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good time management skills in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience in: Lockbox operations Payment processing Mailroom or document handling Basic data entry skills
