CURRENTLY SEEKING a DENTIST * Provide comprehensive routine and emergency dental services, including: * Diagnosis and treatment planning * Restorative procedures * Crown and bridge * Removable prosthetics * Uncomplicated endodontic procedures * Minor oral surgery * Diagnose oral health conditions and deliver timely, evidence-based treatment to improve patient outcomes. * Initiate and interpret dental radiographs and laboratory studies. * Administer and prescribe anesthetics, medications, and other therapeutics as indicated. * Provide follow-up care and ongoing management of patient treatment plans. * Refer patients to specialty providers or external agencies when appropriate. Patient Experience & Education * Provide dental and oral health education to patients and families. * Teach patients preventive care, illness prevention, and proper oral hygiene practices. * Develop and maintain respectful, caring, and professional relationships with patients and their families. * Deliver care with sensitivity to cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic differences. Team Leadership & Collaboration * Supervise and support Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists as assigned. * Foster positive, collaborative relationships with dentists, dental staff, and clinic operations teams. * Assist with training, in-service education, and ongoing development of clinic staff. * Participate in community dental programs and outreach initiatives. Clinic Operations & Quality * Assist with reviewing clinic productivity, procedure scheduling, and clinical care guidelines. * Meet or exceed established clinical quality, productivity, and performance standards. * Ensure accurate, efficient, and confidential patient charting and documentation. * Ensure all care is delivered in compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards. * Adhere to clinic policies, protocols, contracted requirements, and quality initiatives. * Maintain professional relationships with vendors, contractors, and payer sources. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from an accredited institution * Current and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Ohio * General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) preferred Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications * Current CPR certification (training available upon hire) * Commitment to preventive and community-based dental care * Ability to work independently with strong prioritization and problem-solving skills * Proficiency with electronic health records, dental software, and general office technology * Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to community health dental services * Experience or strong interest in serving diverse and underserved patient populations * Bilingual verbal and written fluency in languages spoken by the patient population (e.g., English/Spanish, English/Polish) strongly preferred Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Toledo, OH.
