Job Description

A skilled Ultrasound Technologist with vascular experience is needed for a contract role in Lincolnton, NC. This position involves working primarily in a Level 3 Trauma hospital with 241 licensed beds and a certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center. The role requires floating between the main hospital and an outpatient advanced imaging center, contributing to a dynamic environment with a patient base encountering conditions such as cancer, stroke, COVID, flu, RSV, and heart attack. Key Responsibilities: Perform general ultrasound imaging with a focus on vascular exams using Siemens Sequoia and P2000 equipment. Adapt quickly and multitask efficiently across different departments. Collaborate with teams to provide high-quality patient care in varied settings including inpatient and outpatient clinics. Complete orientation modules and departmental training to ensure readiness. Work weekends as needed without a fixed rotation and cover approximately 75% of holidays. Float between designated hospital and outpatient locations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of one year of ultrasound tech experience with vascular imaging. Required certifications include BLS and either ARDMS (no specific anatomy certification necessary) or ARRT. NC State licensure is not required. Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience as a traveler is preferred; first-time travelers will not be considered. Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend coverage as needed. Generally not on-call. Schedule cycles every 13 weeks.
