Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Hialeah, Florida

An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Cath Lab Tech to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a dynamic Cath Lab environment. This contract position is located in the greater Hialeah, FL area, with work in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab unit featuring four patient rooms equipped with advanced GE Innova imaging systems. The Cath Lab team consists of 22 staff members, including RNs and Technicians, working primarily day shifts supported by an on-call night team. The unit maintains a 1:1 patient care ratio, emphasizing close attention and tailored support during complex cardiac and neurovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, cerebella angiograms, stenting, and balloon angioplasty. The environment is fast-paced and requires a tech who is adaptable, a proactive problem solver, and a dedicated team player. Qualifications or Desired Experience: Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications are mandatory Proven competence in special procedures and familiarity with GE Innova equipment RCIS certification is preferred but not required Experience with Meditech and MacLab EMR systems is advantageous Key Responsibilities: Prepare and assist during invasive cardiac and vascular imaging and interventional procedures Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment adhering to safety protocols Collaborate closely with nursing and medical teams for optimal patient care Respond flexibly to on-call requirements as per unit needs Location Insight: Based near Hialeah, FL, this role offers the vibrancy and cultural richness of the Miami metropolitan area combined with access to excellent healthcare facilities.
