This role provides hands-on experience supporting advanced LASIK and PRK procedures for active-duty military personnel. What You'll DoPrepare patients for refractive surgery procedures Assist surgeons during LASIK and PRK surgeries Conduct visual acuity testing Perform ophthalmic diagnostic testing Maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment including: Corneal topography Pachymetry Tonometry Visual field testing Support clinical research documentation What You'll NeedCertified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or higher Ophthalmology clinic experience Experience assisting with refractive surgery procedures preferred U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: LASIK surgical support Ophthalmology surgical assisting Eye surgery clinic environments Ophthalmic diagnostic testing Ophthalmic imaging About Federal Staffing Resources Federal Staffing Resources supports federal and military healthcare facilities nationwide with highly skilled healthcare professionals committed to mission-driven patient care.
