Overview Tufts University Advancement (UA) builds strong long-term relationships with Tufts' constituents and matches their aspirations with the university's evolving priorities. UA seeks an Assistant Director to join the Tufts Annual Giving Team (TAG). TAG is responsible for the strategy, design, and implementation of a comprehensive annual fundraising program, with an emphasis on leadership annual fund giving, class-based reunion fundraising, and volunteer-driven fundraising to increase donor counts. What You'll Do The Assistant Director will be a key member of the frontline fundraising team within TAG. This position will qualify, cultivate, and solicit prospects for leadership annual fund gifts, with an emphasis on five-figure donations. They will be accountable for meeting fundraising goals and managing a portfolio of 100-150 leadership annual fund prospects. This position will collaborate with major gift officers, planned giving officers, and alumni engagement colleagues on prospect strategy, fundraising initiatives and events. They will participate in team activities and may lead projects and initiatives as assigned. What We're Looking For Please include a cover letter with your application. Basic Requirements: * Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of related experience * Knowledge and experience in philanthropy * Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills Pay Range Minimum $60,000.00, Midpoint $75,000.00, Maximum $90,100.00 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
