Job Description

Join a dedicated educational environment as a Licensed School Psychologist serving students across Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 in Sterling Heights, MI. This contract position offers a valuable opportunity to provide essential psychological services that support student learning and well-being in a vibrant school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend resources. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with regulatory standards and school policies. Facilitate training and consultation sessions for school personnel on psychological practices and student support. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and educational laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
