American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a mobile MRI role at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.Job Details• Mobile MRI Tech position within a large 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital,• Night shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM,• Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift,• Daily caseload varies,• Siemens MRI equipment used,• Charting via Epic,• No on-call requirement,• Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required,• Current BLS (AHA) required,• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required,• Siemens MRI experience required,• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred,• SC state license required if applicable,• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration,• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler,• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized,• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis,• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; approval is based on unit and manager needs,• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date,• During hurricane season (June-November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September,• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required,• Parking is free on nights and weekends; a one-time $20 parking pass fee applies for other times
