Sports Dietitian Fellow, Football

The Sports Dietitian Fellow will assist with the nutrition needs for the Football team and assist the Sports Dietitian in a variety of tasks to continue enhancing the sports nutrition program.• Assist with nutrition needs for the Football team o Nutrition education and counseling, body composition assessment and interpretation, travel nutrition, pre-/post practice and game nutrition, fueling station operations, hydration and Gatorade sweat testing, nutrition inventory maintenance, cooking demos, grocery store tours, etc.• Oversee the following nutrition needs for the Football team Development and execution of in-season nutrition education series for freshman Maintenance of hydration intervention table for high-risk athletes Nutrition inventory management Pre/during/post practice needs for one position group (to be determined) throughout season• Communicate and work with Steelers Executive Chef and kitchen staff to coordinate training table menus and ordering nutrition product.• Assist with management of all football fueling stations, including assisting with training undergraduate and graduate volunteers.• Assist in development and continuous improvement of nutrition education materials and resources• Perform various administrative duties• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the sports nutrition staff.
