Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student success in a school setting located in Round Lake, Illinois. This role is designed for professionals who are dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment through comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations to identify students' learning needs, strengths, and challenges. Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and tailored strategies. Provide counseling and behavior intervention support to students requiring additional assistance. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student concerns and progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with district and legal requirements. Support crisis intervention and develop prevention plans as needed. Desired Qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention. Strong knowledge of educational laws, special education services, and mental health strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and school personnel. Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
