Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Gastonia, North Carolina

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage for call-offs, PTO, and vacation shifts. This position offers approximately two shifts per month, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekend hours. The role supports a community health clinic serving an underserved patient population. Location: Charlotte, NC Schedule: Approximately 2 shifts per month Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM No weekends Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately in compliance with FQHC/340B guidelines Provide patient-centered care in a clinic setting Collaborate closely with one technician in a 1 pharmacist/1 technician model Support underserved populations with culturally sensitive communication Assist in medication management using the PioneerRx system Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid North Carolina Pharmacist license (required) 1-3 years of pharmacist experience, preferably in outpatient or community health settings Familiarity with FQHC operations and 340B program (preferred) Experience serving underserved or diverse patient populations (preferred) Comfort working independently in a small team environment Spanish language skills are a plus, especially beneficial since the technician speaks Spanish This role is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who values patient-focused care and enjoys a collaborative clinic environment.
