This contract opportunity requires a dependable professional skilled in CT imaging, capable of working flexible hours to support department needs while delivering high-quality patient care. The position emphasizes technical proficiency, patient safety, and collaboration within a fast-paced clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT exams independently with expertise in patient positioning, equipment setup, and radiation safety. Verify clinician orders, obtain clinical histories, and assess patient conditions to ensure proper procedure preparation. Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Evaluate image quality and maintain accurate documentation using hospital protocols. Respond effectively to emergencies and assist in maintaining life support equipment. Collaborate with healthcare team members, assisting in other imaging modalities as needed. Uphold patient dignity, privacy, and comfort throughout procedures. Maintain and disinfect imaging equipment following infection control standards. Participate in departmental training and quality control processes. Qualifications and Experience: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to handle stressful environments. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with ACR and manufacturer quality control testing. Schedule and Location: Night shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Required on-call availability for a minimum of every other weekend. Contract assignment through June 6th.
