This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist to serve as a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor on a contract basis. The position is based in Greenbrae, CA, and requires immediate availability with a duration of 13 weeks or longer. The work schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no weekend shifts. The role utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system. Key Responsibilities: Oversee pharmacy operations ensuring efficient workflow and scheduling Manage pharmacy staff and lead team meetings Review and update pharmacy policies in compliance with regulations Support and train staff on IV competencies and USP standards Utilize software tools including Excel, Word, and BD suite (PK, Pyxis, C2 Safe) Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist in the State of California Graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy preferred; Pharm.D. and/or completion of an ASHP accredited residency or equivalent highly desired Minimum of two years of leadership experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy setting Strong skills in scheduling, workflow management, policy review, and detail-oriented work Ability to provide training and support to team members This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
