Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and ensure quality assurance of imaging equipment, monitor patients, and assist licensed practitioners during fluoroscopic, interventional, and neuro-interventional procedures.Minimum Requirements:2-3 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience with references. Neuro-interventional experience required.Experience with run-off and angiogram procedures highly preferred.Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.BLS (Basic Life Support) required. ACLS preferred.Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) and Vascular-Interventional Radiology R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) preferred.Ability to assist in a wide range of procedures including biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, tunneled dialysis catheters, MediPorts, lumbar drains, nephrostomy tube insertion, tunneled PICC, gallbladder/biliary drains, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty/sacroplasty, lumbar puncture, CAPD catheter, epidurals, and PEG tube insertion.Experience with neuro-interventional procedures such as cerebral angiograms, thrombectomy, coiling, and carotid stenting.Prior travel experience preferred. Local candidates acceptable.Associate degree from an accredited radiologic technologist program preferred. EPIC and PACS experience preferred.State licensure as required by Ohio.Assignment Details:Facility Type: Hospital.Shift Name: Days.Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week. Daily hours will rotate between approximately 7:00 am-4:30 pm, 7:30 am-5:00 pm, or 8:00 am-5:30 pm.Call required: one day per week with every fourth weekend coverage. Weekday call coverage 5:30 pm-7:00 am. Weekend call coverage 7:00 am-7:00 pm.Additional on-call shifts may be required to support coverage for open positions.Two procedure labs. Typical case volume 12-15 cases per day.Candidates must be able to remain within a 30-minute commute of the hospital on on-call days.Staff may be required to stay beyond scheduled shift if multiple procedure rooms remain in operation.Location HighlightsLocated in Lima, OH, the area offers a blend of suburban living and regional attractions. You will assist physicians using sterile technique, administer contrast with power injectors, adhere to radiation safety standards, verify informed consent, complete procedural documentation, and participate in downtime procedures. Expect patient interaction, team collaboration, and occasional exposure to blood and potentially infectious materials.
