Job Description Summary Clinical pharmacist - Ambulatory Infusion, Hospital Drive Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type Employee Worker Sub-Type Regular Cost Center CC005769 CHS - Mt. Pleasant Infusion (Offsite) - Pharmacy Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-33 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description The Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacist will report to the ambulatory infusion manager, and will provide distributive and clinical pharmacy services primarily to outpatients of the Medical University clinics. This position will address the needs of nursing personnel regarding drug disposition and usage; counsel patients and health care professionals, as needed, by providing general and specific drug information; ensures timely and medically appropriate dispensing of medication to patients for assigned areas; be trained check, and also prepare, hazardous and non-hazardous sterile products in accordance to USP 797 standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player with excellent time management and communication skills. Required to have valid SC pharmacist license upon hire, or in place within 90 days of hire Additional Job Description Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
