Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Plant HSE Coordinator is responsible for working with the site HSE Leader to support and ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance within the Burt's Bees Manufacturing site. Work Hours: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. (Note: Candidates must be flexible and able to adjust their work hours based on business needs.)In this role, you will:Communicate Safety and Environmental compliance at all levels.Lead or participate in safety and environmental investigations to include proper reporting identifying solutions to prevent reoccurrences.Ensure compliance to all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations in regard to Safety compliance. (i.e. OSHA, NCOSH, etc.)Interact with Federal, State and Local environmental agencies when obtaining and/or reviewing Safety permits, during visits and inspections, and when submitting compliance documents. (NCDEQ)Maintain accurate, current and orderly files for Safety documentation including permits, applications, monitoring records, compliance documents, and agency correspondence and inspection reports.Review all permits regularly to ensure Safety and Environmental compliance is maintained Complete all reports necessary for Local, State, Federal and Corporate Standards. (i.e. OSHA, NCOSH, NCDEQ, etc.)Lead External Vendor management to handle waste, recycling, sorting, removal and disposal. Support Ergonomic and Health Vendor in improving and supporting Ergonomic and Heath programs in the Plant.Lead Safety/Environmental Audit Programs throughout the Plant.Lead Safety committee program.Participate in plant wide continuous improvement activitiesMaintain excellent team relationships.Willing to work across all scheduled shifts as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by your managerWhat we look for:AS or BS degree in Safety, Health, Engineering or related discipline preferred.Skill Block Level - Minimum of 2 is desired, but 3 is preferredStrong background working with computer databasesDemonstrated ability to lead a rapid focused improvement and experience in Loss Analysis.Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA, 30-hour Construction Safety and Industry Standards plus familiarity with DOE 10 CFR Part 851 highly Preferred.Experience and a good understanding of Environmental (EPA, county permits, regulatory) standards is highly preferred.Demonstrate the ability to use MS Office tools create, update, and share data with groups in the plant.Good communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.Good written and verbal communication skills are required.Demonstrated ability to multitask is requiredOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally.
