Operations Coordinator Location: Novi, MI Compensation: $50,000 annually Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (EST) Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite• Applications will only be considered from candidates who meet the listed job-related qualifications. Please review thoroughly before submitting your application.• Company Overview A global organization specializing in manufacturing and supply chain operations, supporting international clients through logistics, order management, and administrative services. Position Summary This role supports daily operations across order management, logistics coordination, inventory control, and administrative functions. The position requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional communication, and the ability to manage multiple processes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Order Management Process customer purchase orders and issue supplier orders Maintain and update orders in ERP system (Great Plains) Manage order changes including adjustments and cancellations Shipping & Logistics Coordination Plan and adjust shipping schedules to meet customer requirements Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and customers on shipments Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists Returns Management (RMA) Issue and track return authorizations Coordinate with Sales, SCM, and Accounting to ensure proper handling and credit processing Inventory Control Monitor and reconcile inventory levels across locations Maintain inventory accuracy within established thresholds Process invoices and manage shipping documentation Maintain inventory records and reporting files Administrative Support Manage office communications, mail, and supplies Assist with travel coordination, events, and internal communications Support HR onboarding documentation and general office operations Additional Duties Respond to customer inquiries and support documentation requests Maintain records and assist with reporting and collections support Handle ad hoc projects as assigned Qualifications Required: 1-3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or administrative support Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate across teams Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains) Exposure to inventory control or supply chain operations Japanese language ability (professional level) Other Details Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
