Travel Interventional Radiology - Apex, NC

An opportunity for a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist is available in Apex, NC, offering a 13-week travel assignment. This role is well-suited for professionals with a strong background in imaging, specifically within Interventional Radiology (IR). The position involves providing technical support during IR procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout. Schedule: Tuesday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Four 10-hour day shifts Two backup call shifts every six weeks Key Qualifications: Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program ARRT certification with active registry status maintained through annual continuing education Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Responsibilities Include: Performing diagnostic imaging procedures within Interventional Radiology under physician direction Preparing and maintaining imaging equipment and materials Assisting with patient positioning and care to ensure safety and comfort during procedures Maintaining detailed records and compliance with regulatory standards Responding promptly and effectively during call shifts when required About Apex, NC: Located just outside the vibrant city center of Raleigh, Apex offers a mix of historic charm and modern amenities.
