You will be both a hands-on leader and a direct contributor to the safety and quality of care our clients receive every day.Responsibilities include:Supervise, train, and mentor Recovery Technicians in day-to-day tasks, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thriveManage hiring, onboarding, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations to build a strong, competent teamSchedule Recovery Technicians to ensure staffing levels align with all applicable regulations and policiesMonitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory guidelinesComplete all required documentation accurately and on time, including incident reports, shift reports, and inspection reportsFoster a positive, high-performing work environment by modeling SCADD's mission, vision, and values at all timesPerform Recovery Technician duties as needed, including:Orienting new clients to the facility and reviewing program rules and expectationsCompleting non-clinical admission paperwork and documentationScreening incoming client property for inappropriate itemsManaging and coordinating medical, behavioral, emergency, or facility issues quickly and efficiently, notifying the appropriate authority as neededAnswering and directing incoming telephone callsMonitoring the security of the department regularlyParticipate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of dutiesWhat You'll Need:High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership roleValid and unrestricted Driver's License and CPR CertificationStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusionAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentWhy SCADD?Since 1966, SCADD has remained at the forefront of substance use disorder treatment, continuously evolving to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities across Southeastern Connecticut.
