American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital, working weekend mid-shift hours on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with no call or float requirements.Job Details• 151-bed community hospital with two CT scanners located in close proximity to the Emergency Department,• CT department performs general scans, biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and research scans,• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings,• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, aspirations/biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction,• Equipment includes Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256,• EMR: Epic (experience required),• Schedule: 12-hour mid-shifts (12:00 PM-1:30 AM) on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday,• No call or float requirements,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required,• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required,• Competency in peripheral IV insertions and contrast administration required,• Experience with Epic and McKesson,• Proficiency with CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, aspirations/biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction,• Experience with Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256 equipment,• State license required if applicable,Additional Information• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,• Local candidates are accepted,• Preferred experience includes neonates, peds, infants, Level I Trauma, community hospital, biopsies, myelography, and radiation therapy planning,• Orientation is approximately 64 hours, consisting of 3 days of corporate orientation and 1 week of facility/precepted training - candidates must be fully available for all orientation days,• Start date is subject to change based on class and trainer availability; missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start,• RTO is not permitted after booking and cannot be arranged on-site; call-offs or unapproved time off may result in contract cancellation,• Royal blue scrubs required,• An interview with the hiring manager is required before an offer will be extended
